Okay .... now its time to recap the Xmas party last weekend. It was quite fun and pretty interesting. We had few games, as usual, and gift exchange, best dress awards, and ofcoz!!! makan session!!! mwahahaha!!

This year I gave HP pouch, and HP dock placed in a box (a nice box, fyi). Then u know what I get? MUG .. yeah again! but this time its better. Oh, there's one colleague that is very very sue .. u know what he get? WOMAN's SHAVER!!! huahahahaha I really cant stop laughing at him!!! very hao lian lorr... somemore the colour is pink!! wekeke .... wonder how he's gonna make use of it :P or maybe he sell it?

The food was okay. better than last year. I love the lasagna and the dory fish. and the choco cake!! hmm ... yummy *drolling* :)

不懂为什么最近我心乱得很。。好像是因为最近发生了很多事情吧。

Anyway, My Mum passed away on the 13 November 2007, 17.48pm (Western Indonesia Time). It was the biggest shock that I had in my life ever! I know maybe people will say that I'm so mellow but whatever! Only I know how close my relationship with my mum is!

My mum is, well, one of my idol. I really am at lost when my sister gimme the news ... it was so sudden and I wasnt expecting all this thing to happen so fast ... Oh well, I do hope and pray that this will be the best for her and for us. May she rest in peace :)

If only I can turn back time, I'd do everything to make her happy. I really mean it! Too bad I'm just daydreaming....

Anyway, May she rest in peace :)

最近我在考虑要换工作变成经济专业。。 说实话，我已经决定好了，有机会就换。 现在已经寄几个application letter (履历表,是不是？)

Anyway, it is not the point.. All of sudden, this question came up to my mind ... Which one that you prefer? Clever or Lucky?

I found it difficult ... while everybody saying I'm clever but I realize and understand myself that I'm neither smart nor clever. Luck is all I have, i guess.

I consider being "lucky" is better .. as no matter how stupid you are, you will always be able to make it!! hehe ^^ doncha agree wif me?

First of all, sorry for the very late Merry Xmas!! was quite busy at that moment so I missed it up. Well, this time around I got nobody with me for Xmas but hey I got attended 3 party lei .. keke it was company, team, and ex-company party only. U know wat I got a box of choco ^^ plus few other thing. Was so excited for that party tho and ... looking forward to Lunar New Year party! weew!

And this new year... on the eve I went to JB (City Sq mall to be exact) for a movie marathon.. Watched Eragon and Night @ the Museum. Eragon was nice but Museum wasnt quite good except that it is funny and that's all ..

wanted to buy a pair of jeans and shirt but think I'll wait for it coz must ask other's opinion lei .. Had my dinner there and then head back to Sg to watch the firework @marina bay. It was sooo good... I like the pyrocolour! really cant say anythin .. it was just marvelous..

And so ... the holiday end by today >,<" huiks! wish i could have more holiday hehehe...

Hmm ... I don't know how should I make a start on this but lemme start anyway.

Last Friday (8 Nov) was quite a bad day for me. There was this accident with my fellow countryman. I, myself, think I'm not to be blame.

It was all started with the "help" that I gave to his team. As a helper (which I define it is different with "INVOLVED"), ofcourse I'm not responsible for it. He and his team should check and can't take my design for granted. First, because I'm not involved and second, I'm using my own style of design which might be different with the overall style that they adopt.

And that day, there he came to my place and saying "Kalo kayak gini kamu kerja di Indo diketawain ama kontraktor" which means "If you're working like this in Indo, all the contractor will give you a big laugh" ... I was huh what the hell is he talking about?!?!

Next, he said I dont have engineering basic knowledge!! which is hilarious!! wah by that time I already be tahan liao! He's so cocky yet rude! what kind of attitude is that? Does he has proffesional ethics or not? or maybe it is how he was raised up! haha! I really really pity him!

At the end he brag my table! hah! Really an uncivilezed way to release anger in a proffesional working environment. Good was when he did that there was our Bozz! and my team leader! hah! Then off we went to our team leader office. There I was having my what so-called "exam"! heh! but I passed and I told my team leader that the way he ask is just a way too rude for my ears.

I keep telling myself that there is not going to be next time! And I will still take that he owe me sorry for bragging up my table which I never had before!!!

After that hor ... I was thinking because it's like he never worked overseas haha! I really pity him as maybe he think he's so good until he can work overseas??? LOL! but for God's sake! please know your playground man! sounds sarcastic? well, it is typical if you're from Indo then you'll know it.

OK I shall not bother about him again LOL.

Yeah ... another week has passed by ..

been helping others till so sian. but hey I got my LCD monitor liao leh ... hehehe ^^

Attended in-house training on saturday .. quite interesting :)

then today wanted to watch 007 Casino Royale in Vivocity ... but ...wasnt able to grab the ticket! siao! all sold out .. ok la then walked around .. I like the architectural element .. very wavy and curly so nice. took a pic with Aston Martin 007 car ^^.

Yeah! Refreshed after 2 weeks holiday ^^

Started my new job end of last month ^^ realize it is not bad .. I mean the feeling of knowing more new people, new colleague, new friends, and new cubicle hahaha ^^ where I will spend most of my time. I like my team-mate eventhough maybe we're not as calibre as the other team. but hey they were like good friends ... a real multinational team :) there's Indonesians, Malaysians, Singaporeans, Indians, Germans, China's, and Filipino ... I told myself .. see? It wasnt that bad anyway of moving ^^

Realize how big the company was .. and yes meeting a lot of ex-ntu frenz, ex-lecturer also. haha seems like this world is so small ... had so much fun these past 3 weeks... Been gone through the Orientation and ISO training... think I'll stay here for some time then.

I learned few things where I havent had time to learn before ... ahhh ... so much fun here as well. The feeling is different but yes the point is I think I can see myself here at least till next year unless they sack me out LOL!

I'll pass on some other story later on as the time passed by ^:^

These past few months didnt write anything up yet it was the most important time in my life. Thought over it liao so many times.. Wanted to switch line but would it be good? If good, then change into wat lei? Or move to another consultantcy firm? Ahh... very blur liao.

gave it a long thought and decided to move to some international company. It was a pity and actually I didnt really want to resign as the working environment is already like my 2nd home where people actually interact one to each other as if we're more than just colleague but good friends.

Told my bozz and he did ask me why? which was somehow become the most difficult question to answer. He actually wanted me to stay for at least another year to learn more in-depth. At the end he shared some of his wisdom about what we value from our job to me which I couldnt agree more...

What we value from our Job? most prolly most people will say SALARY which could be translated into MONEY. well, yeah cant pretend we dont need money but for me its not the most important factor. Working environment is the most important factor to me where inside we can enjoy our job yet can learn from each other plus hand-in-hand with others be it in happiness or sadness. Secondly, the chance to grow ... the space for improvement... the opportunity to learn... lastly then salary take place. Ofcoz being underpaid also not a good option lar... We cant be so stupid for being underpaid and keep silent about it all, arent we?

I know I got it all there but .... okay lemme make another excuse .. I wanna try other firm 1st. Anyway, I've been working there for 1 year 4 months liao .. I guess its long enough, quite boring with the routine as well.. Ahhh ... at the end I still see other people garden is greener. So, there was it ..

Move on ... that's what I've told myself to do. I cant be so dependant to others anymore. I'm no longer being a fresh graduate which needs other to help me solve simple problem. Feel so lucky that so far there was always some1 to help me.

OK ... once everyone in the old office knew I was about to move then they said few comments .. like "why never ask lei?", "why never told us lei?" and so on and so forth ... I was just thinking I should be able to think over it by myself as it is personal.

Oh and there was a BBQ that I helped them to arrange ... and it was just so right ... on my last day. It was like OMG, did I still okay to join the BBQ? wouldnt it be so diu lian? but bozz looked pretty okay that day :)

hoah! now I'm back liao! ^^

Things has been so complicated lately... anyway, now I'm changing company liao hehe^^ well, still doing same thing but hope that everythin will be better to boost off my resume LOL!

Good news is my mum getting better as well. Thank God!

There were 1 colleague left and as well as the IA student left. But there's also good news behind ... which is "makan"! LOL...

start from 12 July, my 老大 treat us with 老张记 .. his daughter 满月
next day was my colleague treat for her last day ... beehoon, pastry, and red bean soup..
the day after was the IA student turn the table on ... cakes and roti.
on saturday, my landlord invite me for a bbq party ...

sianz.. become so fat LOL

Then, from 17-22, I prepared some presentation .. ya ya i know I'm very slow indeed. But I really cant help it since there were 2 showflat to be designed .. and yet everybody keep on yelling "urgent" grrr...

My mum & sis went back to Indo after more than 1 month here... sigh! sad but hey! I can sleep on my bed again haha^^

Ahh.. closing party was on 22nd which is my colleague house warming party .. I should say her new house looks nice in the living room since it's adopting the what-so-called minimalism concept with a touch of B&W colouring. Took a picture there but yet to get it from here LOL...

Finally departed to Bangkok on 1st of July! LOL ... It was so much fun ..

1st day we just went to MBK straight away ... Its a really damn cheap over there.

Finally, I got time to update my blog! fiuh!

Eniwei, I shall start with a laugh! yes! hoho ^^ its a long week but a wonderful week as well.

As usual, started with a normal life doing same thing every now and then till my brain felt so numb. Can u imagine? What will happen if our brain got numb, eh? maybe there will be a dissease called "Brain Numb-ness" hahaha :D

Went to Bugis on saturday as I have to take my sis and my mom go there ... It was ok .. I juz know leh dat Bugis street is quite "somethin". I used to thought it's juz another "street" hoho ^^v pardon my suaku-ness heh! had our lunch there then off we went to NTUC to do groceries shopping.

The next day we all went to People's Park on Chinatown. At first we were just having a thought of flying to Bangkok at the next weekend since it will be my mum's off-week for her theraphy but at the end .. we book the tic and hotel! huahaha ^^

Not so expensive anyway, So this saturday off I'll go to Bangkok! yeeeheee!

Oh, and over there actually my mum wanted to buy a necklace with its pendant ... the standkeeper was beri beri funny de ... coznversation was like this :

Me : "zhe ge pai duo shao ar?"
SK : "179 kou dao 125, wo men ye you shang lian lorr... you $60, 70, 80, 90"
Me : "Ke yi kan na xie shang lian ma?"
He went to take the necklace
SK : "Here... "
Me : "nei yi ge shi $60?" *with kiasu-ness face haha*
SK : "zhi you zhe ge er yi.." pointing at one of the necklace.
I was like .... huh? only one? wtf is dis?
Me : "zhe yi ge bu ke yi pian yi yi dianr ma?"

*pressing calc ...* btw, the necklace dat my mum want was $90
SK : "total shi $206"
see? it was an additional $9 cut off only! chey!
Me : "9 kuai er yi ar?"
SK : *tuts tuts ...* "hao la hao la gei ni $200"

Then I ask my mum to juz went away ... wat a game cut by $9 and or $6 only ... chey! we want more! haha ^^
I mean ofcoz as a customer we want 2 get d best bargain mah hoho ^^ ane kiamsiap bo? ^^

Another surprise was My bozz praise me and he said "wo hen man yi" huahaha! Infact even if he never said that I would praise myself up! haha! I've been dying this past 1 month ... 很残！

Today, All the tender drawing haven't out yet. lack of few stories only as the drafting site havent finish drawing. I was so paiseh until 5 draftperson have to draw for me ... huhu !

At the end, I'm juz feelin' excited for tomorrow's holiday! yuhuuu! haha ^^

Hmm....

this week got lotsa things happened. Was very busy at first because of the things in the office where everything got piled there then I still need to make appointment for my mom and all those things. Worst was one of my friends oweys "chasing" me to join one of the new MLM in singapore.

u know wot i think rite? MLM sux.

Anyway, my mom flight was delayed so she arrived here a bit late in the night on Wednesday.

On the same day, I was on MC haha ^_^ it was actually for a allergic. The stupid doctor ar... before he gave me the MC for one sigle day, he got ask me for how long I has been working there .... sigh! grrr! But he gave me one day MC only ...

Thursday was quite a day for me ... I was supposedly dropped my mom and my sis at Mt. Elizabeth then I would go to office to work my ass for some cash! But my mom wanted me to be with her and I couldn't say no coz I oso have to help her doing all the administration things ... beri beri complicated!

After the day surgery things done, she cannot tahan the pain until she cried. hao lian o ~~ I asked the nurse for pain killer which can act instantously. where afterward, my mom felt so sleepy till 7pm! haha!

Friday was goin to office to wrap up all the things held up behind for 2 days. Guess wat! When I opened my email hor ... I 've just realize that I missed out 1 gathering which was held on thursday ... hiks! but anyway, OK lar it was just a mini gathering anyway!

2 of my colleague were having their baby born last week. Another one is coming up soon. Dont u think they're rushing for the Father's day? hahaha! wat a coincidence huh? Maybe their wife run out of idea of wat present should be given to their husband and then think of an idea that givin birth of the baby during this time? hahaha!

Good news was I was able to finished up all the remaining things for The Clift and Ecoville. There's still a lot of things to be done for Alteon and Mustafa Centre Extention tho .... sigh! like never ending one!

Saturday, my sister and I went to Mt. E again to hand over my mum's urine! yeah! its urine! hahaha^^ then took a stroll around Orchard again and we spend some money buying few things on Taka and Popular.

This sunday .... sleep the whole day! sleeping is my fave thing to do leh hehehe ^^

好。。。 最近我有听他的歌。。他是我最喜欢的singer.

First time I hear ... hmm she always got the right tune and most importantly her looks constantly changes along with her music. simply one word "Awesome"!

My fave song are "舞娘", "假装", "马德里不思议", "唇唇欲动", and "Mr. Q" ... ow ofcourse "玩美" as well.

In the MV, she shows her talent as the title means Dancer. She improved a lot on dancing.

She also did a performance on the recent MTV Asia Awards 06 which was held in Siam Paragon BKK. was just awesome...

Well, nothin much tho.... the past 3 weeks was quite ... ok boring, you name it you feel it haha ^^

Oh but got one things happened ... Great Singapore Sale! it started on 26 May which will last till July i think ...

The 2nd week was ok ... but i was always sleepy at work ... which i dunno why.
whilst the 3rd week was a total mess. My boss keep on asking me why I couldnt finish the design for The Clift... told u all it wasnt because of me ... it was that stupid computer fault!

Here's how i looks like during weekdays ^^

I went for a site visit of The Chuan at Lorong Chuan on Saturday ... it was supposed to be an office things but only a few of us turned up, think only 8 of us. was nice and good ... I dont think I'm able to design such things tho... hoho ^^

I went off to Orchard with a friend of mine on the 4th of June, we met at Dhoby Ghout then we had lunch there, err i mean i had my lunch there haha ^^v After that off we went to stroll along the so-famous Orchard Road. Bought 2 pieces of shirt for my working attire. Pierre Cardin and Guy Laroche .. I think I bought it in Robinsons.

At Wisma Atria, I got my eyes stick to a pair of shoes at Beetlebug ... its so nice, colour is shine brown ... and it was just nice. Was about to buy but... bo lui liao leh... bo pian lo... besai bue ce mengkia so ok lar...

After chit chatting then we just say bye2 and back home i was.

on the 9th June, I had my haircut at Kimage, PS. I was about to go to Toni & Guy but one of my colleague also want to do a hairdo so we off together there... i think not bad hahaha ... see lo.. how you think?
