I'm finally have a nephew! He should be 1 month old by now, so that you know how late I blog about him. LOL. He's cute and handsome, like me, obviously. First, I haven't had time to visit him yet and second, I think I might be visiting him tomorrow! I had bought several toys for him .. though I'm not sure whether he's gonna like it or not. haha... and I've bought a Garfield baby suit for him to be worn during CNY, hope it's gona fit him just nice :)

I've finally bought a dry box for my camera & lenses today! yay! Well, I guess it's a good start to take a good care of my camera. I also bought a new 1TB Seagate portable harddisk. And it's cheaper than the 500GB that I bought last year! Oh well, technology evolves...

A Tea for all of us

Just wondering, have any of you guys tried TWG? I you had tried, how many types of tea had you tried?

I've become a big fan of TWG Tea ever since I had their Vanilla BourbonTea during my stay in St. Regis Singapore long ago. Eversince, I had tried their English Breakfast Tea, 1837 Black Tea, Creme Caramel Tea, Choco Mint Truffle Tea, Christmas Lights Tea, and another one that I couldn't recall it's name.

I had to confess that I love TWG Tea! It taste better than the rest of other tea cafe in Singapore and the choices are like hundreds! It's salon are also well decorated with gold-themed ornaments & facade that I believe is in line with their corporate image that they want to portray.

Another best thing about TWG is their tea accessories. OMG! It's all super cute and adorable. Tea pot, tea cup, everything....

Fendy's Q&A - Which phone should I get?

I've had a friend of mine asking me this question on what her next phone should be, BlackBerry or iPhone? And I guess I'll just try my best to give some advise then ....

Q: i want a functional fone. easy to sms... seriously considering to push mail to my fone... easy to call... can do calculations... foto... recording... can easily open attachmt best... music...

A: As a start, I would have to let you know that BlackBerry is nothing without BlackBerry Internet Service subscription. Thus, with Singtel, i presume you are, the cheapest plan for that you can go for is $15 plus the VAS of 3GB BIS at $24.9. While for iPhone, they have iFlexi Lite which is bundled at $39.

However, do also note that if you do opt for BlackBerry Torch 9800, you MUST have the 3GB BIS in your plan. Or else you could say bye bye to browser and AppsWorld. Other BlackBerry model doesn't seem tohave this problem as claimed by Hello Shop Manager, which means you can just opt for 1GB BIS Social VAS and do your browser using the normal BBoM.

Ease of SMS-ing. Well, both do have the same style of messaging as they link all our SMSes into a conversation. In terms of how convinience we type, I would personally go for BlackBerry as it has qwerty keypad, whilst iPhone, on the other hand, only have virtual qwerty keypad. Typing can be done faster and more accurate with BlackBerry.

Other type of Instant Messaging (IM). Both phones do support most, if not all, common IM available, such as: YM, MSN, Skype, etc. However, BlackBerry has it's own licensed BlackBerry Messenger which allows us to send messages between BlackBerry devices all around the world with the data being deducted from your BIS plan.

Responsiveness. the response of BlackBerry surely surpass iPhone in terms of it's hardware and software. However, the response of iPhone touchscreen is ten times more superior than BlackBerry Torch.

Push Mail. You have to go for BlackBerry for this feature that you want. However, iPhone, and many other phones, are able to simulate push mail service by means of pulling the mail on a certain time interval basis in the expense of draining the battery.

Ease of making phone calls. Seriously, if you're gonna make a phone calls to peoples in your contact lists, it's BlackBerry. But if you're making calls by dialing their number, then it's the same.

Calculation. With iPhone there's always an Apps for everything. So, even an algebraic calculation also can be done with it. While BlackBerry does well with the basic calculator. I, personally, haven't really search for any calculator Apps for BlackBerry.

Photos, Recording, & Multimedia. BlackBerry with OS6 have what they call Social Feed apps which collate and consolidate all the updates & RSS from your social networking network & websites. Equipped with 5MP camera, it serves well for photo taking and movie recording. iPhone does it better in this aspect though. it's a phone that is full of multimedia and games. Music does better in iPhone too!

Files compatibility. Both phones does well for compatibility with most of the file extension such as PDF, XLSX, DOCX, etc .... However, do note that iPhone doesn't support Flash in their browser.

Fendy goes to BlackBerry World

Yay! Finally!! I had my first ever BlackBerry, but thanks to Singtel the first day wasn't really that smooth. However, with that being said, the experience is awesome.

Let's see what I have to say about this, touchscreen smartphone with qwerty sliding keypad, BlackBerry Torch 9800.

The dual input method is one of it's advantage, so, you could opt to use it's keypad which is u can slide it in and tuck it behind the LCD. 正！But it's touch screen is not as sensitive as iPhone.

The trackpad is definitely a better option compared to trackball which they have in BlackBerry Bold 9000. Maybe I'm not yet used to it, so it feels a bit overly sensitive for me.

The responsiveness. Yes, BlackBerry Torch 9800 is definitely much better compared to iPhone or Nokia smartphone that I have. Bye bye laggy!

The 5MP camera. It is well understood that Smartphone camera is NOT and will NOT be able to surpass those DSLR. Thus for me it's quality is sufficient for snapping and it serves my social networking needs just nice.

The most anticipated feature, BBM. Okay, to be honest my first ever usage of my BlackBerry is BBM. I was literally busy familiarising myself with the feature it has to offer, such as, groups, invite, being invited, AutoEdit (for those cute cute symbols which sometimes irritating)

The social feeds, yes, now equipped with BlackBerry OS6, things are supposed to be fluid and dynamic. Thus social feeds will just combined and consolidated all the updates from all your social networking sites, such as Twitter, Facebook, MySpace, etc ... And it is also have a tab for RSS, which means you could get all the updates from all your favourites sites which has RSS, like my blog for example.

The battery. haha .... OK, this is really depend on your usage. really! I had used it extensively for BBM this morning from 9AM-1PM and its totally drained. Yes, flat till die. LOL~! Nonetheless, you could also opt for 2G data transfer usage if you do not require any heavy data traffic to saves up your battery.

The memory expansion, BlackBerry Torch 9800 uses MicroSD card for it's data expansion.

The colour availability, in Singapore where the market is relatively smaller compared to Indonesia, only BlackBerry Torch 9800 is only available in Charcoal. It's available in White and Sunset Red with AT&T.

Last but not least .... it's smaller than iPhone, there goes the LCD size.

It's Choco Lava time

As the title read, it's chocolava time. It's very suaku of me that I've not knowing the existence of this sweet little corner in Gourmet Palace, Toa Payoh Hub called With a Pinch of Salt. Together with my newly found friends, I tried one of the dessert offered called Choco Lava. It is basically a great combination of hot, sweet & savoury choco filled choco muffin topped with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. A word to note... you gotta enjoy it when it's hot! it's yummy!

Marc Jacobs did it again! The show was fantastic and the aura was so asian! Starting with three tigers and almost all the models wrapped in cheongsam-look-alike or kimono-look-alike.

One more thing that was a value added to this highly broadcasted show is that 360 degree live view of selected piece of their collection. That means you could see the model and rotate as you wish to see the dresses the way u want it to be!

Had a really deep thought last weekend about 'What would people think when someone said they're different?'

Well, I posted this thought into my facebook but only 2 friends of mine replied and both of them shared the same thought as me. Our answer was 'we're gifted'.

The reason why I would think so, instead of searching which part of me that is a geek/weirdo/awkward, is simply because I do dare to be different. And to me being different means you're able to see what others are unable to see.

Besides, I am always being stamped 'different' many times, e.g:
1. My palms are always sweaty.
2. I am very shy/less talkative/a thinkier
3. I portray an unconventionally suave engineer
4. I am soft spoken yet stubborn

... last but not least ... The optimistic always see opportunity in a problem while the pessimistic always see problem in an opportunity.

It was surely good setup that they have in front of all the big brand :) but I think I screwed myself up! ha! I'm totally stage-shy ..... sigh :'( You wouldn't know how I wish I could turn back the time and have it retake..... well, whatever it is, just hope for the best, should we?

Anyway, they were asking me about my views on the upcoming Marina Bay Sands, my sense of fashion, going to gym which I think I answered quite ok-ly and I weren't able to grab the last question which was for literally asking me selling myself off! and my answer were asking ppl to do more grooming ..... how good was that? haha ok.

Nevermind, it's all over and I shall not brrod over it instead do my own way of marketing!

Annual D&D

It was a busy day but it surely worth doing it!! I swear that I enjoyed every bit of the preparation and the party itself! hell yeah!

Everybody in the company was like in a big hoo haa because of our D&D in which it represent our 1st ever D&D after the company is fully integrated and therefore we would like to portray the image of 'unity' and 'grandeur'.

With all consideration, we chose St. Regis Singapore, one of 6* hotel with a superb level of service. It has one of the best Ballroom island wide. And oh, I love their room, especially the bathroom....

As for the theme, Partie D'etoile was chosen. It literally means Party of Stars. The whole concept that I would like to bring in was something like a high class fashion show where all the fashionista flocks. *and yeah!! we did it!!*

I was in charge of the theme, food & venue, program, and main coordination. And I can tell you, I didn't regret being a part of it! =D

Just finished watching (re-watching to be exact) their runway show in their website and i still think that they are really really have a good flair of design. I can sense the manliness of each of their pieces and not to mention the boldness too!

I'm so like their combination of the bow tie and the lines in the shirt. It's like an affirmation of the statement that they made through their looks. Definitely one of my many wishes!

A day at St. Regis Singapore

I was quite lucky to be able to taste the exquisite dishes from St. Regis. Knowing St. Regis as one of the super luxurious hotel since it was in the drawing board makes me know how to appreciate it even more than just it's mouth-watering dishes.

From the moment you enter .. a super luxurious foyer which is very spacious and bright thanks to all the glass facade & ornaments.

There's this table with potted plant (with it's pot being made of glass) and not to mention it's very high ceiling to add on it's grandeurness. A lot a lot of mirror are being exploited to give such a spacious effect into it.

As if we're in an old castle-kinda-place, the access to the Main Ballroom which is located at the Mezzanine Floor is through either lift (which is again very nicely done!) or a uber-grand-spiral-staircase.The carpet of the stairs have this starry effect by having small LED on it which blinks.

Last but not least is it's Main Ballroom ... oh man, it's grand~! it's hip~! and it's superb..

OK now it's the review of the dishes.

1. Amuse Bouche

Actually it's a salmon skin =)) and I like it except that it's only a few pieces. (I'm a big eater so yeah, I need more)

2. The Three Combination (duck meat, tuna in a tomato cup, and jellyfish&octopus)

I like the 1st two but I didn't touch the octopus simply because I don't eat octopus!! OK but for the other two it was fabulous.

3. Double Boiled Shark's Bone with Fish Maw, scallop, and crabmeat Soup

it's nice!! nice!!! and just nice!! can I have another bowl please?! haha.

4. Fried Cod Fish accompanied with Fried Shrimp in Miso sauce

I do like it despite that the shrimp is a bit too cooked and lack of vegetables. Quite filling though after this dish.

5. Shanghai Style Pork Belly with noodle

The noodle can be sticky if it is being left for quite sometime.. and the Pork Belly? I onli tried to cut it because I don't eat pork just that I would like to test it's tenderness.

6. Glutinous Rice with coconut Ice Cream accompanied with Liu Sa Bun

It rocks! it rocks! I luve it .......

So.......

All in All, St. Regis is a real 6* hotel!!! not to mention the service is also top-notch one!

1. G.I Joe

Awesome! I like it.. It's just full of action all along and both Sienna Miller and Channing Tatum are just hawt! Those who had read the comics might find it slightly different although it doesn't deviates too far.

It's a must-see movie :)

2. The Proposal

This movie is hilariously funny! Furthermore, Sandra Bullock looks realli fabulous in this movie. It's funny to show how a new york girl would live the Alaskan way .... and the bachelorette party is just another cause of laugh. ROFL.

My N97 Review

Overview

Sophisticated and Reliable, two words to describe N97! It is a bit thick due to the dual touch function yet it is sleeker than its predecessor. The whole experience is just really worth it!

As my expectation is based on N95&iPhone that I owned, N97 simply excel on every aspect of it. I enjoy the Music player, 5MP Camera, and the sliding qwerty keyboard (can’t resist to slide it out!) as well as the widgets. Yes, especially facebook.

I do wish that the battery would last for a longer period though because it has to support the ‘live’ widget on the desktop so that we are always up to date. The software and the hardware still have room to improve as well.

Take Charge

It’s really your call! You can customized how the Home Screen looks like. I, myself, placed facebook, Calendar, Strait Times, Email widget, and shortcuts. That being said, thanks to the wide array of widget selection available, now you are just one touch away from all your favourite application. How cool is that?!

Meanwhile, if you think that is still not enough for you, you can simply browse for what is available over at Ovi Store and make a purchase for application/widget that you need.

Open Wide

Indulged! The 3.5” screen really indulged you in a really enjoyable experience for movie (including youtube-ing), facebook-ing, and gaming! As for web browsing, imagine a super-mini laptop, which equal to convenience and mobile. Reading mails and viewing its attachment or photos is no longer a sore in the eyes, thanks to N97 big screen!

Photo viewing is also easy and not crampy as some old phones have. Now, there’s always a room for anything!

Dual Touch

I’m speechless for this, for real! I simply can’t resist sliding the keyboard in and out. Imagine the moment you slide the keyboard, the screen goes tilted at an angle to make your viewing more enjoyable.

The touch screen is good enough for a daily usage whilst the keyboard is really handy when it comes to messaging and emailing. Trust me, you can type as fast as when you’re typing in the real keyboard. All you need is just a little bit of practice & the stylus helps too.

I would rate this feature of N97 as the most sophisticated feature, after all.

Unlimited Entertainment

Fun unlimited. As it is dedicated for Gaming & Entertainment phone, it didn’t fail me on these. Good quality 5MP camera with Carl Zeiss lens & versatile connectivity really make my day. I can simply shoot a photo and share with my friends straight away. The photo taken is sharp and in a pretty big resolution which makes it printable to up to A4 sizes.

The Music and movie player produces a better quality compared to N95, which will sweep away the word ‘boredom’. I do hope that the control of the earpiece would last longer than N95.

And the N-Gage gaming experiences top it off nicely with its 3D gaming experience. So, doesn’t matter if you enjoy relaxing while playing The Sims, releasing your anger by playing Asphalt, or even spending your waiting time with Tetris, it’s all playable in N97. It’s as easy as, log on to www.ngage.com and select get N-gage tab, the rest shall be as instructed.

2Days Movie&Shopping Spree!

waw ... still a bit excited with the past 2 days ^^

On Saturday, went out wif fren & her fren to have a lunch and catch Duplicity in the cinema... but at the end we ended up walk2 around Orchard Rd.... start from ION till Orchard Central, mainly just to look c look c at Orchard Road battle of the malls... We used o work together for one of the high class shopping mall along the shopping belt .... and so yeh, we were like commenting about how the malls looks like all the way!!~ but it was fun critisizing other people's & own design .. hee hee..... all ended with a chit chatting session @ Starbucks beside Centrepoint..

Well, my sunday was themed 'High Class Shopping Spree' =)) As the name implies.... we went in to LV @ ION after having lunch @ Din Tai Fung in Orchard which has just re-opened. Was inside the stores like .... 2 or 3 hours... looking at their full range of items. I LVoe Tadao in Damier Graphite, btw. Finished with that, we quickly find a place with a shelter and decided to go accross to Starbucks near Wheelock Place. The sudden rain was quite bad especially because I worn my newly ought fcuk white jeans!! Over with the rain, we continue our journey to DFS .... and that to just made me have a COACH Scarf! *happy happy*. Closed with a dinner @ Far East Plaza .... and stroll for quite some time there but not to my liking ... honestly.

Now I'm wondering ..... am I a Shopaholic???

Sleep Deprived

I think I'm suffering from a sleep deprived ler... Since last saturday, I didn't get enough sleep which is supposed to be 8 hours a day. Saturday, I woke up at around 1pm *i tink* before having my brunch ...... =)) Soon after that, lazily ..... I walked over to CT to return the CD I borrowed from FF ... but alas! the moment I stepped into the building .... the fire alarm was activated! The security told me and another peeps to wait for approx. 30mins ...... :(

I had an appt with my PT at FF MW in 45 mins and he wanted me to wait for 30mins? haiz haiz ..... jialat jialat... But at the end I just left without returning the CD... =p wekekekeke

That PT session was the last one for the free session .... but it is quite light compared to the previous two. Basically, just do the treadmill, bicep&tricep resistance training, abs training, and conditioning .... and ehm ehm ... the PT offered the real PT service in which actually being sold per package in denomination of 5, 11, 20, or 30 with a certain expiry date.

The price is a really really kiasi lang price.... wakakaka =)) close to $850 for 11 session.... so ex rite?

Well, I'm not saying no but neither will I say yes for PT .. as for now.=))

Then soon after I finish with my training ... I head to city hall meeting my flat mates before we all cabut to Nite Safari....

It was fun! and smelly~ reached home arnd 2am in the morning ..... with puffy eyes, ofcoz!~

Sunday morning was supposedly an enjoyable ride of Singapore Flyer .... but alas!! we woke up a bit late so unable to catch the free ticket ... huhuhuhu.... So, we head up to Popeye's to had our brunch .... big brunch to be exact....

Finished with that, we went to Marina Square to buy tic for Angel & Demon *nice movie* and walk walk .... till we bumped into URA's exhibition .... haha ... where my flatmate kena catch to go on stage ... with her zipper open! wakakakaka =))

Lastly, after finished catching the movie... we headed to church for sunday service... then dinner at nearby Kopitiam where I had my green curry .... *yummy yummy*

then go shopping ..... and headed home for laundrying and cleaning!!

now ...... I'm sleep deprived!

As the title implies... I've finally made it! Sign up for a gym package at Fitness First ^^v will have to exercise very often leh ... if not so rugi coz the fee is not cheap also.

Anyway, I have been shopping around for gym for the past 2 weeks right after I came back from my last holiday. Tried California for 2 weeks but I personally thinks that it is not the place where I belong too .... then also went to True Fitness, which I find their place is nice and the price is very seductive but lack of flexibility and I somehow still don't think of signing up. But when I first saw FF... wah... looks nice! except that the membership consultants who answered my queries is VERY rude. Can you imagine he told me that If I think their membership fee is expensive then I'm not suitable to join their club... wtf wth man! It's ex but doesn't mean that I can't afford it ..... cibai kia~~ piak piak!

At the end ... lucky I found this guy who is nice and able to give me a better package compared to that cibai kia... so I signed up last sunday ^^ I picked MW as my home club, btw...

So that was it ..... my journey which ended up with a first step to a healthier lifestyle! ^^v

One word it is .... Spelendid! LOL.... joking nia... Actually it was just fine and as per normal. Went out for gymming @ Cali Bugis then had dinner in KFC with my flatmate. The most annoying thing was .. his boss kept on sms-ing him! (I suddenly feel so lucky that my bozz neva sms me ^^v ). I arrived around 40mins before him so I had a quick exercise at the treadmill and dunno-wat-machine was that to train the tricep(?) before we joined BodyBalance class. Before taking a bath, I went for some abs training and dunno-wat-machine was that to make your shoulder broader(?) then steam and sauna .... feels so great :)

Saturday I slept the whole morning till 11 plus .... hehe ^^v before I started anything, I did cleaning up my room first. So sad to say but only now that I had time to download my HK trip pic..... that was a lot!! At around 6pm, my flatmates and I rushed to Vivocity to meet a friend of mine to watch Knowing at 7.20pm. I was like so paiseh coz he has waited for us for quite a period of time ... hahaha...

The movie itself was fine. It's a low budget kind of movie. The effect is good but not the ending and it is quite obvious with the story line and the message that it wants to spread.

Final destination of that nite was ..... Food Republic! wakaka ... yeah we haven't had our dinner as yet! must feed the monster in our stomach ler~

Sunday lagi relax lor~ had brunch with mates at around 2pm =p then head to NTUC to buy some groceries for our weekly cooking! And I did volunteering for the dessert.... as usual haha! this time around is Maccaroni & Green Bean Soup~ yummy~~

Oh and we went to church as well as seeing frenz house that he juz newly rented. Anyone want to rent a room at S$750 at Jalan Bukit Merah ..? near SGH side and Vivo. It was very clean! coz he did hire a maid to bleach the whole house twice lor~ If you're interested, you can just leave a comment here :)

I bought Toshiba Portege M800 Pearl White set :) so chio!!! At the end, the total exp is $ 1999 :) They also give us 160GB Toshiba Portable HDD, extra RAM, extended waranty, Creative mouse, 1 roll of blank DVD, and Keyboard Cover. so now I'm blogging using it!!! sibeh happie!

I bought my airtic to HK for this mth holiday too!!! hehe lagi happie!

My new company quite good when it comes to makan session leh... so far I joined quite a number of makan session.. but still cant gain any weight .. lol. We had a dinner and angpao lucky draw the last week of Rat's year and louhei session just last friday.

The louhei session was as part of our buffet lunch at Plaza Brasserie @ Park Hotel. The food was nice..esp. the sashimi .. so fresh :P Lastly ..... these are the pics taken!

Yesterday it was so quiet .. no! it should be peacefull. Most of my colleagues are still enjoying their holiday somewhere in their hometown. But the point is, our office has become so much quieter ... and more peacefull coz there're no fight at all! well, literally we're fighting lar~~

There's good and bad in it, ofcourse. Good thing is we're more relaxed and less distraction and less noise. Bad thing are less companionship, less talk, and less joking. LOL ... But good for me is I can wear as casual as I can get :) Eventhough there're not really is a restriction for our apparel. 随便 is the word.

This morning on the way to the bus stop, there was this chabor that dress like tandak! walao le ... dunno go where la, but she dress as if she's a walking display for pawnshop! very vain~~~

I want to buy a cap!!!

CNY has come ... so fast huh? too bad this CNY I can't go back home to have my reunion with my family .... sigh :'( but it's a season to be happy not wining! kekeke..... come to think about it, the last time I spend my cny with my big fam was ... 2006! so long liao! next year muz go back home! *cross finger*

Anyway, I went out for a dinner with my flatmate and her parents plus her fren ... We had our dinner at this place called Kublai Khan Mongolian BBQ at Park Mall.. I thought I'd expect a mongolian dishes but it wasn't coz it's a international buffet style kinda things. Taste below average and lack of variety. Sushi bar and sashimi bar lagi jialat~~~

Then, we spent the rest of the night waiting for the firecracker in Chinatown :) Unexpectedly, there was this ang moh, named Bram from Belgium, approcahing us. Apparently (yeah! after I kepo kepo with him la) he is on a stop over for 3 days onlie and he wanted to enjoy the CNY celebration here so he asked my frenz dad ... hahaha alas, uncle dun understand angmoh language. quite funny at first :P Then he followed us till we part somewhere at the start of Pagoda Street (near the MRT access). Good Luck to your attachment in Sydney!!

At the end, we went to buy some mochi which the seller always said '最后半个小时' hahaha .... It was so uncomfy! u know when people are like a 'sea' and boy!!! were they so pushy?!! opiang~~~

Good thing I was still alive. lol~~

The 1st and 2nd day of CNY I just spend my time at home playing PSP and watching Anime ... :) and the 3rd day? working la! hee hee...

Started my new job today :) feels very 爽...

Well, firstly, it is because of my window seat. Heard from my colleague that the window seat is actually only for seniors... But, I think for my case maybe they just ran out of seats! haha ... count me lucky then :)

Secondly, I enjoyed the environment ... in which I would rate it a lot better than my prev employer which was super suck. I can't say anything about my new colleagues as yet (coz I've just started!) but it is more chinese environment ... similar to my 1st employer that I prefer :)

Thirdly, the project(s) itself ... I think the project that they've assigned to me is good ... in a sense that it could boost my resume and a good exposure :)

Okiez ... shall talk about it again later! Meanwhile, here's an artist impression of the project I'm working on ...

I didn't feel 'so bad' this time. I left because I'm forced to ... but not terminated or retrenched, okie?!

Maybe .... well, maybe its all because of the reason that I had behind all this ... haiz ... why does it has to happen ... I regret it but others might not do so! So, what's the point of regretting?? Exactly ... now I've always told myself not to regret all those! Hack care about them! cibai~~~

Funny things happened as actually we wanted to start our joywalk from Kent Ridge Park all the way to Vivocity. But my fren forgot that the feeder bus from Buona Vista MRT is off on sunday! We waited there for like an hour!! huahauhau

At the end we took MRT to Redhill and took bus to go direct to Handerson Wave ... too bad we gotta give Alexandra Arch a miss. OK then walk walk walk we were... But once again we were lazy to walk to Vivocity .. so at the end we walked halfway and took the cable car!! wekekeke!!!

Yesterday I went to attend my colleague's wedding party being held in M Hotel. The food was nice ^^v I like the shark fin soup ~~~ yummy ~~~~!!! The bride, my colleague, is Indonesian too ..... no wonder the party also molor wekekekeke .... for an hour leh!

Then the food went out like F1 race !! woof ... until I can't catch up liao liao. Very nice ... except the prawns! haiz ... I'm such a lazy person, fyi. So I dun wan to use my hand to peel it thus I didn't eat the prawns.

Fiuh ... Just went out with ex-colleague for a mini gathering =)) We planned to go to a Japanese Restaurant at Liang Court but when we was about to make a booking ... they told us that it's closed for renovation! LOL.... and the contigency plan was steamboat.

Got F1 driver practising for Singapore GP the day after tomorrow. haiz .... so we took MRT and alighting at Bugis. Been so long never take MRT and I was 'wa piang e! so many people like sardine' but nevertheless ... we still squeeze in =(( while we squeeze ... one of us cant board the train! lol ..... so we waited for him lor ...看他怎么可怜!! kekeke

Then we walked .... and walked .... and still walked!! aiyo my colleague who lead us don't know the correct direction! and we were getting further away as we walked away! wahaha .... so .... I go and read the map and lead the troops! :)

Then we saw the banner of this 天天火锅 from far away so we went there right away. After qued for a while ... they brought us to the 2nd floor de... then we eat and talk and eat and laugh ... wekekeke .... until everyone feel very full!

One thing tat I notice .... it took quite long for them to serve the soup. Thus, we filled the table with thing to eat and waited anxiously. The variety of the food also not so many.

ah ~~~ very full indeed!

I dunno that I will have such comments from my immediate supervisor lei .. He said I'm always like to do things on my own ... whcih is true! It's true that I've got lotsa problem lately, be it personally or officialy. Sigh! but wat can I do ... Can only try to settle those problem one by one.

Today got surprised lei .. its my first time seeing my bozz wearing jacket! I can tell that he isn't in a good condition loh ... well, good thing is he become calmer and *unwillingly* become a better listener :P Anyway, get better soon bozz! wakaka ...

Busy Days

This whole week was a really busy week for me... huff! And it ended up with a lunch @ Din Tai Fung. I ate 虾仁面 and we shared 小龙包. It was nice ... especially last friday was a bit cold and our lunch was around 2pm .. 已经饿死了！then eating the soup and the noodle .... yum yum!

Well .... I also saw a stack of letter in Bozz room! I tink its increment and or promotion letter lor coz its like thiiisss thick lei ... haha .. wonder if inside got mine :P *cross finger*

dunno y but i felt happy today ... maybe bcoz I joined a new lunch group? or maybe bcoz i had a meeting with TODS?! well, both are possible ... hehehe .. 反正，开心就好咯。。

I had this meeting with TODS for their revamping process of their Paragon store. I shall say their plan looks nice with the whole new area and facade. We all should be able to see it early next year :)

Btw, I'm trying very very hard to learn cantonese now (actually before also but maybe not so hard wekeke) by music .... but then when i tried to practise in office, wah! everyone cursing on me, man .... well, music is not like spoken one ... music is more like formal or written language that is pronounced differently. lol no wonder la ... :P

I went to Shokudo yesterday with frenz ... the ambience is nice, the system is marche-look-alike, the food so-so la ...

I get the Salmon Curry Rice (not spicy one) and Macha Float for a total of $17. Quite reasonable since the curry rice is very filling but the Macha Float is a bit too little leh ....

Watched the opening of Beijing Olympic just now ... wah! marvelous ... really an eye opener for those who look down on China.

true? I tink its true lo ... I always never think of people bad side leh ... not until i kena stab by them. Then now I rili dunno which are good people which are bad people. For example, even my own auntie oso lied to me, say borrow money later pay in May .... see now? until August also havent paid. cibai ~~~

Lately, I have been in a argument with someone. The more I hate her, the more often I bump into her!!! Before this incident I had NEVER bump into her ... not even once for more than 1.5 years of my working time!!! serious!!

Fireflies Trip to Desaru!!

I had so much fun during the fireflies trip to Desaru, Malaysia. But as the after effect, I took a whole day resting at home on the next day :P It was worth going there despite of the ulu place it is and not to mention the super early take off time.

We took off supposedly at 6.45am loh! and I woke up at 5am liao liao as to give myself ample time to prepare my things. Was still very sleepy lol.... here's the photo before our departure :)

We depart thru Tuas 2nd link which connects SG and Gelang Patah. Then we had our breakfast at that town. We ordered dimsum and it was A LOT!! yet they forced me to kaotim it ... huks huks ... Good thing was someone helped me by taking my bao away :)

Then we started our journey to the east for arnd 2 hours, but before that we made a short stop at chocolate factory. Jialat u know this shop no electricity one leh .. maybe havent paid the bill hehehe ^^v

Our first stop was Desaru Fruit Farm, the sun really realllly hotz! Until i felt like I was burned loh!! I took a few of nice picture (nice to my standard ^^") before we off for lunch! yay!!!

Ostrich Farm came next. I hate this farm coz its hot like sauna, smelly like shit, and only seeing that stupid ostrich ??!!??!! wakaoz ...

Then they dropped us in one of the shopping mall in Kota Tinggi which I cant remember the name.. So to cut the story short, I bought a Levis Jeans :P heeeeheeee happy happy lol. The shopping mall, it was small, cramp, and not up to date loh but this jeans quite okay and I can wear it casually *oops I mean I wore liao*

Dinner at nearby restaurant with the slogan of "aircon restaurant" was not as good as lunch in a non-aircon kopitiam. Maybe this was to cut our time short so as to allow us to return to singapore faster and earlier :P

B4 watching fireflies

Before we watched the fireflies, we joke around and play play around, not to mention taking photos. And by the time it was almost dusk, we all up in the boat with our safety jacket on. The fireflies so nice, but to bad it wasn't inside all trees, but onli specific trees so it's like a wall with lamps here and there.It would definitely be better if all the trees are lighten up by the fireflies. hehe.

Farewell Lunch @ Breeks

Last friday we, almost the whole team, went to Breeks Cafe @ Harbourfront Centre to have our farewell lunch for our colleague.

He's moving to Perth, btw and yet we treat him western food which he will have to have for the rest of his life there! kekeke!!! oh well, not really western la, he picked Beef Lasagna.

Overall, the service is best, desert is nice, but the food was so-so. The Manager in charge really helpfull and always attend to our needs. Some more I forgot to bring the list of order ... good thing I was able to memorize all of their order and who order what!! my IQ is a real wonders! ps: they rated me as Genius loh on my previous IQ test few years ago ;)

Anyway, I had this Peppermint Tiara as the desert. It was nice and cooling .. but the heart-shaped-choco so stiff and always blocking my way :) Honey Lemon Tea as my drinks and Dory Fish glazed with Mushroom sauce for the main course. I think the weakness was in the sauce.. coz it's tasteless, nonetheless, the drinks is fine.

Today I had dinner at Paragon Shopping Centre Rooftop.. nothing posh la! just a celebration of topping off of the new structure. Actually the view is not bad hor .... considering it can view accross till Grange Road, Angullia Park, till Orchard Central there ....

I think I'm better to be just an observer ... was disconnected from the crowd again ... hmm :(

Meeting, Meeting, and Melting!

From now onwards, my wednesday and thursday will be filled with one similar activity, which is called Meeting. It's good though :) like last wednesday ... morning meeting in Mandarin Hotel then afternoon in Paragon and window shopping in between ^_^v

Oh yeah, I had to take over someone's duty coz he's leaving singapore for good. So ... my bozz invited the whole project team to introduce me and to give him a farewell lunch in Sushi Tei. I had this Yakiniku Don, which I think it's delicious just that the meat is not tender enough. On the other hand, we ordered *actually they ordered* Dragon Roll and Golden Dragon Roll and few other sushi .... yum yum .. Dragon Roll is one of my fave in Sushi Tei :P Thanks bozz!~ and Ganbatte Nico!~

We'll be having another farewell lunch and dinner for him again loh. Lunch is with our team and Dinner is with Indo-club~~ looking forward to maan fiesta bah!~ I had arranged the lunch in Breeks Cafe :D dinner I dunno coz its not mine! LOL ...

Anyway, I tried my culinary skill loh.. and I came up with these two yesterday... Chicken Steak and Shroomy Fried Rice. yum yum .....

我最近真的是进退两难。。因为有以前同事跟我开设。去云顶之前我去了他办公室面试，然后拜一他就再跟我联络。tempted tempted .....

Nevertheless!!! It was a happy happy moment in Genting hehehehe :P

It was superrrr cold de!! rili I'm not bluffing you! The fog was super thick too .... until our sight distance only left with like 2 or 3 meter.

I went and took the "Spinner", "Ferris Wheel", "DinosaurLand", "Monorail" in the outdoor theme park. I dun dare to take the "Space Shot" de .... 会死的！

Go Casino too but onli went to Starworld not the Montecarlo, etc .... and lost RM20 .. waks!

Then shop around buy few things that is on sale ..... oso eat, eat, and eat ... but to be honest the food there is ex yet normal one .... fufufuf......

Waah~~~ 又走了一个~~~

我是说我同事有走了一个哦~ 可惜哦~ 不过这样也好，新朋友多多来 :)

在想。。。下次要安排什么活动呢？烧烤做了，打羽毛球做了，上ktv做了。。。打bowling好吧！反正下个月再有人走，所以不得不庆祝的。去哪儿吃呢？breeks 好吗？还是the soup spoon好？

哎呀~~头晕~~~ 原来做这条事业并不容易！我自己也是要东要西哪有时间为人家想想呢~~~嗬嗬！
